What happens to your audio.
VoxText must upload your file to process it. This page describes that path and the services involved plainly.
File processing
When you start a transcription, your audio is uploaded directly from your browser to private, temporary Vercel Blob storage. The VoxText server retrieves it and sends it to the configured transcription provider. The temporary Blob is deleted after processing whenever possible, including when transcription fails.
Transcripts
The returned transcript is held in your current browser page so you can edit, copy or download it. VoxText V1 has no database, account or transcript history. Refreshing or clearing the page removes the result from the interface.
Service providers
Vercel provides hosting and temporary file storage. RelayRouter receives the audio from the VoxText server and routes the speech-to-text request. Review RelayRouter's published terms and privacy information before uploading sensitive recordings.
Data you should not upload
Do not upload audio you are not permitted to process. Until provider terms are finalized, avoid highly sensitive recordings, regulated data and material requiring a specific retention agreement.
