VoxText vs TurboScribe
Try VoxText for a short audio recording and editable TXT without an account. Consider TurboScribe for a larger recurring free allowance, longer files, batch uploads, speaker labels or subtitle exports.

Compare the allowance and the result you need
This page compares the audio and TXT workflow. Limits and offers differ; a lower monthly price does not make two plans equivalent. Each TurboScribe row links to its official published information.
On a narrow screen, scroll the table sideways. Keyboard users can focus it and use the arrow keys.

A one-time trial or ongoing free use?
VoxText starts with 10 guest Cloud Minutes. A free account has 30 lifetime minutes in total, including linked guest use. Signing up does not add another independent 30-minute balance. These trial minutes do not renew daily or monthly.
That guest entry can suit a short, occasional recording. You can inspect the synthetic audio demo and editable text before using your own allowance. For regular recordings without paying, TurboScribe's daily free allowanceis a stronger fit; VoxText's trial is not an unlimited free replacement.
Plain text, speaker labels or subtitles?
VoxText lets you correct the draft in the browser, copy the current version or download TXT for your notes or document editor. TXT has no subtitle timing. For an interview, identify speakers manually from the recording and verify quotations. For a lecture, check names, technical terms and numbers before relying on the text.
TurboScribe advertises speaker recognition and DOCX, PDF, SRT and VTT exports. Those features may save additional preparation when you need an office document or timed captions. Neither product's feature list establishes which transcript will need less correction on your recording.
Check file limits and your expected workload
VoxText Pro is $9.99/month with 2,000 Cloud Minutes. That is a metered allowance; the per-file limit and your remaining balance also apply. The uploader shows the applicable duration limit. A recording can fit 100 MB and still exceed that time limit.
TurboScribe's paid offer is advertised as unlimited, with up to 10 hours and 5 GB per file and batches of 50 files. Its $10 monthly equivalent requires $120 yearly billing; the monthly billing option is $20. Compare the billing term, recording volume and required exports together, rather than choosing from the headline price alone.
Use a representative recording to decide
Keep the same short excerpt for both services. Include typical names, accents, noise and speaker changes. Check the returned words against the recording, then edit and export the draft to the app where you will use it. Our synthetic demos show a workflow; they are not evidence of a comparative accuracy or speed advantage.
Before uploading sensitive recordings, read the VoxText Privacy pageand the other service's handling policy. This comparison does not establish a security winner or a zero-retention guarantee.
